PACE Energy is an Australian specialist consulting and advisory firm serving the Australian and New Zealand renewable energy market. We focus on our clients and on finding solutions, working to get the best result through collaborative, strategic planning, strong governance and effective execution.

Nick Farrington
Founder · Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Design
Nick is a mechanical engineer by training and a builder by instinct. Over more than twenty years he has worked across power, transport, infrastructure and, since 2010, renewable energy, moving from designing and delivering hard engineering projects to helping shape the energy transition itself.
Along the way he has held senior delivery and business development roles with engineering and energy businesses across the United Kingdom, Australia and international markets, and has been involved in more than 4 GW of utility scale solar and battery storage, from the earliest days of development, through construction, to operations.
He kept seeing the same thing. Good projects losing time, money and momentum in the gap between development and delivery. Decisions made without the full picture. Risk that surfaced too late. He founded PACE Energy in 2019 to close that gap: a specialist advisor that brings structure, governance and clear decisions to large scale solar and battery projects. Nick leads every engagement personally, and he is straight talking, hands on and genuinely invested in getting your project where it needs to go.
